Water supply pumping Whether the source for a supply of water lies above or below ground level, Pumps are almost invariably necessary to move the water to where it is to be used or stored for use. Types of pumps used for water movement are many and varied; the following types being most commonly used: - Single stage Centrifugal - Multi stage Centrifugal - Submersible - Line shaft Turbine Here at James Reid Electrical our Design Staff are very experienced in the various types of starting, protection and control equipment used for water supply pumping plants.
