Down South Therapy Services provides a high quality specialized and individualized mobile Occupational Therapy service to children, adolescents, teenagers and adults in the regions spanning from Rockingham to Australind. As a mobile service we provide individual and group sessions at schools, homes, childcare and daycare centres and community organisations. Therapists are experienced in providing high quality client centred services in the areas of: Sensory regulation Fine motor skills Gross motor skills Upper limb rehabilitation Mealtimes/ feeding Sleep Attention Social skills Play skills Toileting School performance Independence Equipment provision Behaviour management (anxieties, avoidance, anger) Work training/ re-training etc. Down South Therapy Services provides individual and groups sessions for individuals with a range of diagnosed and undiagnosed difficulties, ranging from but not limited to: Motor Skill Difficulties Learning Difficulties Behaviour Difficulties Autism Spectrum Disorder Acquired Brain Injury Cerebral Palsy Down Syndrome Fragile X Syndrome Mental Health Difficulties Attention and Sensory Regulation Difficulties Developmental Coordination Disorder Specific skill-based difficulties impacting on performance at home and/ or in the community We also provide services to individuals receiving funding through the Insurance Commission of WA and Public Trustees. Private health insurance, Medicare (Mental Health Care Plan; Enhanced Primary Care Plan) and FaHCSIA (Helping Children with Autism; Better Start) rebates available.
