Structshop specialises in structural steel workshop details used by fabricators to manufacture all types of steel structures. We also provide site drawings for the installation of holding down bolts and marking plans, sections and details for site personnel to construct the steel structure. We also specialise in producing concrete tilt-up panel drawings for pouring and lifting. At Structshop we have proven our dedication to the structural steel detailing industry by investing in the latest computer technologies and a world leading 3D structural steel detailing program Tekla Structures (Xsteel). Which allows us to produce drawings of the highest accuracy. Each piece of steel and its connection will be modelled up three dimensionally for accuracy, structural integrity, architectural requirement and ease of erection on site. Throughout the drafting process, we are able to scrutinize the whole steel structure from any desired angle to ensure there are no physical clashes with objects and to be sure that bolt access has been taken into consideration for erecting steelwork. Once the steel structure has been fully modelled up Tekla Structures then automatically generates part, assembly and general arrangement drawings accurately. We then enter every drawing to ensure that all necessary information and dimensions are on the drawing for ease of fabrication. Tekla Structures also produces accurate material lists, erection bolt lists, bridging lists etc. to save any problems in the workshop and on site. Once the job is complete we are able to post the job on a public web, which allows you and any one else involved in the project to be able to zoom, rotate and fly through the structure in full rendered 3D and find detailed information about each and every part. Having this feature available also helps with any difficulties on site.
