I paid Paul Blake Enterprises $2700 to paint half of the inside of my house while l was in Perth, when l came home 18 months later l realised that Paul Blake had not done any of the painting he told me he had completed and which l paid him for. First he said he gave the money to my tenants because they said they would paint it for him for half of the cost l paid him to paint it and then when l got the Department of Fair Trading onto him he came out on the day l got out of surgery, painted the house using twice as thick of paint as he should have and it went like orange peel on the windows, doors and door frames, he did not fill any holes before painting and then left in the middle of the day the next day without painting any of the family room and got his solicitor to send me a letter saying he was finished and l am lucky he didn\'t charge me more. I have all the photos and payment details plus his agreement to come out and paint it from Fair Trading. It is going to cost $4,500 to get another painter to fix what Paul Blake messed up and he said his workmanship is that of a second year apprentice. Be very careful who you get to do maintenance at your place.
