Alpana Station

I visit Blinman twice a year and always go to Alpana Station to see Sally and David. The four wheel drive tracks on Alpana would have to be amongst the most challenging that I have undertaken, a real adventure for our group. The landscape is absolutely picturesque with it\'s rolling hills and high mountains, it\'s beautiful creeks and rock pools, The main attraction for us is watching the abundance of fauna in their natural habitat and the variety of flora from one valley to another. The huge gums, the contrast of the splendid pines and the majestic rock formations make Alpana Station a special place. I guess for my friends and I, meeting Sally and David and listening to the stories and history about Alpana while having a small ale tops the visit. They are fun people. Alpana Station is a great place to see our natural history and a must visit.
