Macarena studied Music at the Canberra School of Music (ANU) and Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Studying Violin with renowned violin teachers including Charmian Gadd, Alice Waten, Richard Goldner and Peter Ashely from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. 
Rod at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Bachelor of Music Education and Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies.
