ABC - Come Read with Me is an after school literacy tutoring program for infants and primary school children.

Literacy is the core of all subjects at school.

ABC - Come read with Me will help your child:
*develop strategies for de-coding unknown words and how to do this on the run (fluency),
*actively listen to his reading - Did it sound right? Did it make sense? 
*build and maintain confidence with reading, using fluency, expression and correct phrasing,
*develop independence in writing without too much teacher assistance, 
*become self confident and motivated in class,
*feel more in control of their learning,
*display a much improved attitude towards reading and writing,
*develop creative writing stories,
*extend their written and spoken vocabulary to the next level.
