Play to Learn Occupational Therapy is an allied health support organisation for concerned parents wanting to enhance their child's development and participation in school and family life.

Based in Logan, Play to Learn Occupational Therapy provides high-quality, accessible occupational therapy services at home, school, and centrally located at our Browns Plains Clinic.  We provide occupational therapy services for children and families throughout Logan and the surrounding southern and western suburbs of Brisbane.

Services provided include assessment and intervention sessions for children aged 2-16 years, as well as school visits and consultations upon request.  Common concerns teachers and parents refer children to occupational therapy for include: sensory processing and attention/self-regulation; social skills and play; fine and gross motor skills; handwriting and literacy skills; toileting and self-care skills.

Children may or may not have a diagnosis, however we are familiar working with children who may also have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Dyspraxia; Global Developmental Delay; Dyslexia; Sensory Processing Disorder; Fragile X; or a Learning Delay/Disorder.  Regardless of the presence of a diagnosis, you child will receive individualised support and intervention to best meet and support their needs.

Children do not need a referral to receive services, however a number of funding options are available if an eligible GP plan is provided, and we are happy to speak further with you about this when we first discuss your child's needs.  Play to Learn Occupational Therapy is proud to be a registered provider of the FaHCSIA Early Intervention Helping Children with Autism Package (for children aged 0-6 with a diagnosis of ASD).
