Crabtree River Cottages offers a heritage suite and self-contained cottage accommodation twenty-five minutes from Hobart.Crabtree River Cottages are situated in a peaceful setting at Crabtree near Grove, at the gateway to the Huon Valley.The Heritage Suite is a fully self-contained four-star suite within Crabtree House, a heritage listed 1840's homestead.   It has a luxurious bedroom with views over Crabtree House's award winning gardens and Crabtree River, and the finest bedding and your personal bathrobes are provided. The suite is centrally heated. You?ll enjoy the two person spa and French influenced bedroom.The living room has a kitchenette, open fireplace with a Huon Pine mantle, leather lounge and flat screen television, digital video display and stereo. Cooking facilities are provided so guests can enjoy freshly laid Crabtree organic eggs and local bacon.  Homemade bread is provided.Emily's and Eliza's Cottage are built in the same federation architectural design as Crabtree House.  Both have very high vaulted ceilings, large decks and verandas overlooking Crabtree River an active playground for platypus and trout, and the pastures beyond.The Loft has been designed to cater for one or two couples in a Queen, King or two single bed configuration.
