De Soutter Medical is one of the world's largest designers and manufacturers of surgical power tools.

The De Soutter Family have been making power tools from early in the 19th Century and were the first company to put a power tool into an operating room in 1949. They introduced the first machine washable power tool in 1985 and now rank as one of the top five power tool manufacturers worldwide.

The De Soutter Medical product range is primarily focused on Orthopaedics with our instruments being used in both large and small bone surgery, as well as for procedures in Maxillo Facial, Oral, ENT, Cardiothoracic, Neuro and Plastics. Our surgical range comprises both modular and dedicated instruments with a choice of electric, battery and pneumatic power options.

In addition, we also supply a range of cast removal and autopsy equipment. All instrument systems are complimented with an extensive selection of accessories from Stericut sterile packed cutting consumables to various pulse lavage, irrigation systems.

Our products are manufactured to the highest standards by our skilled team of assembly technicians and test engineers at our Aston Clinton facility in the UK. At this site we also have our clean room packing facility which processes our comprehensive range of sterile packed blades, burrs and drills. These products are supplied to our Australian Office and then delivered to our customers on a next day delivery service.

Our Australian facility has extensive warehouse space and servicing of De Soutter power equipment is carried out on the Australian mainland.
