Hi, I'm Ru, and I LOVE being a Zumba instructor! Every class is like a huge party, and I love connecting with everyone in the room through the music, smiles in abundance, laughter and rhythm.

I'm a former professional dancer and choreographer getting back into shape after having 2 little boys and not very much exercise over the last few years. Zumba is fantastic for it because I have so much fun I don't even realize I'm exercising - and sweating more than I ever have before! After only a short time, I'm feeling my body coming back into shape and my strength returning. I can't wait to see where it takes me over the next months! If you'd like to come along for the ride, I'm sure it can do the same for you!

What's been most important to me as a performing artist throughout my career - and in general as a person, is to be authentic and really connect with others through the heart. I've found working with the body a great way to ground and open into this. It is great to have this opportunity to share what I've learnt on my journey so far, and encourage others to find their own authentic groove and release with abandon through Zumba!
