Southern Peninsula Oncology Massage provides home visits as well as a studio in Rye for treatments.  Oncology Massage is for those undergoing or about to undergo treatment for Cancer, as well as those in treatment and recovery.  It is hugely beneficial, reducing stress and anxiety as well reducing the severity of some side effects associated with treatments.  It is safe for all clients with Cancer, even those who have become medically frail and may be nearing end of life.

Because of the enormous demands placed on the body during treatments, this type of massage is far gentler than traditional massage.  Unfortunately many of us have been conditioned to believe that for a massage to be beneficial it needs to be painful!  This is not the case, and in fact considering what your body has been through, would you really want more pain?  Oncology massage takes into account your particular circumstances and is designed especially for you.
