Established in 1993, by two medical practitioners; the institute has grown more than 2000 percent by student numbers to date. AIHM is a registered training organisation and the courses offered are both nationally and internationally recognised. Campus is located in a beautiful, tranquil bush setting ideal for learning and practice of fundamentals of natural medicine.

Articulation arrangement that has been established with Charles Stuart university enables the students at AIHM to continue their studies and receive a nationally Recognised degree in complementary medicine.
Institute offers number of Advanced Diploma and Diploma courses in natural therapies and certificate and short courses to suit everyone depend on your passion and interest.
Advanced Diploma course fields include:
- Naturopathy,
- Ayurveda
- Homoeopathy

- Western Herbal Medicine 
and the Diploma course includes Remedial massage.

Institute also offers accredited Vocational Graduate Diploma in clinical Acupuncture for health professionals and many other short courses.
