Amaroo Counselling I am a University qualified Social Worker, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) offering private counselling, student & professional supervision, & contracted Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) services to Individuals, Family, Corporate, Government & Non-Government Organisations (NGO's) in ACT and South Eastern NSW. I have extensive experience as a Generalist Counsellor, Child & Family Specialist Counsellor working in both NSW & ACT Hospital & Community Health in areas of Child & Adolescence Mental Health, Adult Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Victims of Crime and Child Protection. I have experience working in the Private Health & Rehabilitation Sectors. Further I have specialist training in complex case management and interagency consultancy. I hold general registration for Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) & eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Worker (AASW). Amaroo Counselling is registered with Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) & an Australian Business Number (ABN) holder. My practice is completely independent and confidential* with a focus on client's needs. I offer counselling to Individuals, couples and families in areas of relationships, parenting, employment, health, and anger and stress management.
