WOLLONGONG EMERGENCY FAMILY HOUSING Wollongong Emergency Family Housing (WEFH) supports and accommodates families and individuals who are homeless or are experiencing a crisis which threatens their current accommodation. WEFH assists families and individuals in crisis to achieve a level of independence that enables them to re-engage with their local community and live independently. Wollongong Emergency Family Housing Inc (WEFH) operates under a community management model within the Illawarra. We provide timely and effective responses for families and individuals facing homelessness. WOLLONGONG HOMELESS HUB Wollongong Homeless Hub Opened in October 2013, The Wollongong Homeless Hub is a one-stop-shop for homelessness resources just metres from the Piccadilly entrance. Clients are able to access multiple agencies from a single point. Computers, photocopiers, fax machines and telephones are offered free of charge to people accessing services. Once a week community engagement officers are available for support and other support services are available to clients. COMMUNITY MOVERS Community Movers is a low-cost removalist service to help those forced to constantly move in an out of accommodation. For more information email at communitymovers@wefh.org.au
