I Am - a Level 7 Reiki practitioner, (using directed universal life force) providing the opportunity to give treatments in private location in lower blue mountains for those who are curious or for those in need. Reiki is received on a massage table, seated, and in my own unique way in a hammock (weather permitting) in the garden. It includes "hands on" in the transfer of the Reiki vibrational energy through both touch and proximity to the body. Reiki is complementary to receive along with existing medical treatments as it is non intrusive (bio/chemicially, or physically) and can/should also be used to improve the positive outcome of mainstream medical treatments. Reiki works at "higher" levels that are holistic with the lower physical & emotional levels of existence. It provides a sense of great relaxation physically, emotionally and spiritually while it is being received. What is it? Reiki is an ancient healing art re-discovered by Japanese man, Dr Usui, in the 1920's through his search in ancient himalayan texts specifically for it. Through a divine gift of further knowledge during a purposeful meditation by Usui once back in Japan (Mt Kurama (Kurama yama, Kyoto)). He found these healing techniques worked in a miraculous way, and found he could pass on the system to new students through teaching the energy balancing techniques, providing a tuning into the Reiki Energy (transl: Spiritual Energy) - being one that is different to other life force energies that are limited, conditional, or not understood) and teaching of the symbols that self generate energy within the physical lines of energy flow (These symbols coming from the original lost Sanscrit texts.) I provide treatments in an unadvertised private residence in the the blue mountains (Glenbrook) and pleased to add that there is no "head in the clouds" about it all... it's actually quite natural !
