My name is Jennifer Gardner of Gateway Counselling Services. Gateway Counselling Services offers a confidential, professional, non-judgemental, respectful and responsive Counselling and Psychotherapy service. We provide Counselling and Psychotherapy for a wide range of issues, including: Lifestyle (Quit smoking, Therapy for weight loss, Stress management) Grief and Loss Individual, Couple, Family and Step-family Adolescent Anxiety and Depression Trauma. I value the therapeutic relationship between Counsellor and Client, and use evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational interviewing to help you achieve your goals. My main Counselling services are face-to-face; however if you live in a rural or remote part of Australia or are limited in your capacity to travel, online or telephone counselling can be arranged. I am a Clinical member of CAPA (Counsellor & Psychotherapists Association), a memeber of ATMS and am registered with PACFA. My qualifications are: BAFA (Hon), Grad Dip Counselling, Grad Dip Clinical Nutrition, Grad Cert Nutrition Medicine (RMIT), Dip TD, Dip Hom, Cert CBT, Cert REBT, Cert SFT, MATMS, CMCAPA.
