Our jewellery collection is brought to you from one of nature's amazing gifts: The tagua nut. The "Tagua" (Tah-gwa) nut is an exotic seed from a palm tree found mainly in the rainforests of South America. It is known as the seed of wisdom and harmony. Once dried it can be carved in all shapes or forms. With a bit of polishing the nut has a fantastic finish. It is then dyed using natural dyes to produce bright, luxurious colours. The Tagua trade provides an alternative to cutting down rainforests for farming and the killing of elephants for their ivory. Naturally organic, sustainable and eco friendly Tagua also brings a valuable source of income to many indigineous families which allows them to live a better life and gives them the opportunity to offer their children a better education.
