Just Screw It, Just Paint It and Just Clip It have done work for over 2500 families, individuals & business in our 7 year history. We currently are doing about 800 jobs per annum. 50% of our new business comes from referrals. We also have hundreds of repeat customers. We are a do and charge company that only charges for the time and materials actually used on a job. Our estimate clearly states that the customer has not received a fixed price and they alone will where the risk if the cost of their job changes. Due to the size of our business and customer turnover we will inevitably have some customers that are outright fraudulent in their claims against us to save money off a bill or not pay all together. We also do make mistakes from time to time that we try and rectify as efficiently as possible. We believe that honesty is everything and that karma prevails. To that end, in our last financial year we wrote off approximately 2.45% of our gross income on mistakes, compromises, settling matters and bad debts. That means 97.55% of the money we billed was collected or 97.55% of our customers were happy to pay their bill in full!!! However there are some clients that you just can't please and Tru Local is were they end up. We also would like to mention that 3 of the 5 negative comments as at 16-2-12 came from people who lost a Department of Fair Trading finding against them for not paying their bill. It is also unfortunate that human nature dictates that you always get many many more times the negative comments as you do positive comments.
