One-on-one tutoring allows the tutor to cater to the specific needs of the student. We begin by assessing a student's strengths and weaknesses and work out a detailed plan that caters specifically to your child's needs. One-on-one tutoring is the only way this can happen as we teach to that student's needs not a group's needs. EXPERIENCE All tutors are fully qualified teachers and all have teaching experience. All tutors possess current Working With Children Checks. OUR DIFFERENCE For school and university tutoring we come to you. This means you can be present in your house while your child is being tutored so you don't have to worry about where they are. It is convenient for you as you don't need to spend time driving them somewhere and then having to pick them up. Lessons are generally for one hour but can be longer if desired. Homework is optional but, if agreed to, is in line with the child's school work. Exams are regularly given and twice term reports are issued. ALL tutoring is linked to the relevant current syllabus so they will never be learning anything they don't need to know. Note: a student in tutoring may cover work above their current year level if they are deemed capable of completing this. ESL COURSES These cater for any level of English and can be as simple as conversation classes to full grammar learning to preparation for IELTS Exams. Group classes are available as well as one-on-one. BUSINESS ESL Tailor-made English courses are available for most industries. Assistance can be given one-to-one or in a group. All work is conducted on your premises unless you specify otherwise.
