To achieve it's goals the team have gone back to basics; providing the best DJs, a strong door policy, comfortable lounges, creative surroundings and lighting, impeccable service and the cherry on the cake is undoubtedly Nevermind's Funktion-One sound system designed by Adam Ward, the man responsible for some of the best club systems in the world. As any sound geek will tell you, Funktion One is the atom bomb of club audio equipment and in Nevermind's intimate space that sound will be stamped indelibly on your memory - and your eardrums. Nevermind is split in two with the dancefloor on one side and the lounge area on the other. From the outset it was designed to be a place to socialize and mingle just as much as it is a place to dance. The deconstructed look of the venue draw's on influences from New York and combines creative input from award winning interior designer Greg Natale with the work of one of Australia's most exciting young artists, Adam Harriden who utilizes various areas of the venue as his own canvas. Nevermind is a multi-functional venue, bridging the cultural divide between music, art and fashion. As well as a nightclub, the venue provides a platform for artistic expression and will be used as an art gallery showcasing modern art from both local and international artists as well as being used for fashion shows, promoting both established and up-and-coming Australian designers.
