Candyss Crosby Gallery is a small boutique contemporary art gallery situated in the Northern Beaches. There are many paintings in stock giving the public a wide variety, choice and size from which to choose. Candyss has been a professional artist for the last 16 years. She works and lives locally after traveling many years throughout Australia, America and Asia. Candyss predominantly paints the beach she lives near: the windswept vistas and harbour; she also paints the deserts, bush land and waterways she experiences on her many painting travels. The artist states the experience of visiting the land becomes an inward journey where, once creating, my memory, mood, and creative process spontaneously create new lines, gestures, markings and textures in these inner landscapes I paint. I reshape the land I have visited, into a contemplative and imaginative landscape within. I then spontaneously and intuitively paint what I see in my imagination?. Candyss Crosby Gallery is open from 10am to 6pm Thursday to Sunday. Candyss' works are collected throughout Australia and internationally.
