Jamboree Medical Centre is a group general practice located in Sumner, a western suburb of Brisbane approximately 12 kilometres from the central business district. First established by Dr Carter in October 1969; Drs Arnold and Shirlaw purchased the practice from Dr Carter in July 2005; Dr Carter still works in the practice. Dr Arnold sold her share of the business to Dr Shirlaw in 2010, making Dr Shirlaw the sole principal. The practice consists of seven part-time doctors supported by two registered nurses, one practice manager, five receptionists and four junior office clerks. The doctors provide a comprehensive range of family and workplace medical services and have special interests including palliative care, geriatrics, sexual health, mental health, women's health including shared care ante natal, mens health and skin cancer. Drs Luchmaya and Bradbury are taking new patients, please call the surgery to make a booking. We are not a bulk billing practice however we do bulk bill pension card and DVA card holders and we also bulk bill children under 16 years and health care card holders between 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri and 8am -12noon Saturday. - Opening Hours:
