Dr Jessica Featherston studied Osteopathy at Victoria University, Melbourne. She completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science in 2003 and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) in 2005. In 2007 Jessica relocated from Melbourne to the Sunshine coast, working in Caloundra for 4 years. In 2010 Jessica opened Bodyworks Osteopathy & Massage in Maroochydore and is now practicing full time at the Maroochydore clinic. Jessica has completed further studies in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Pilates Rehabilitation. She also has a special interest in pre and post natal care, and is currently expanding her studies and treatment into paediatric care. Jessica treats not only back and neck injuries but a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a keen interest in Sports Injuries after working in Melbourne at several football clubs as a Sports Trainer and Osteopath. Jessica enjoys treating a wide range of patients from children to the elderly, and adapts her approach to suit each individual. She uses a wide range of techniques including spinal mobilisation, manipulation, ultrasound and soft tissue massage and stretching. Jessica believes in treating the patient with a holistic approach, making sure to get the full picture. She also encourages use of at home stretching and exercise programs, whilst also offering ergonomic and postural advice.
