Relax and unwind in a stunning house perched on a hill in the Kerry Valley, surrounded by beautifulfarm views, bush and your own private river. Perfect for the extended family get together let the kids roam the hills and river below while you relax by the fire or do a spot of fishing. As a Crebra Farmhouse guest you have access to approximately 200 hectares of the dairy farm Glenaulin. The Albert River sits just below you has long pools, banks to picnic and relax on, and fish to be caught. It is a favorite for sport fishing Bass and Mary River Cod other fish include Eel Tailed Catfish, Eels and Carp. If you are very quiet you may even see our resident platypus playing in the early mornings or late evenings. Crebra is just 1.5 hours from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast - just 20 minutes from Beaudesert and nestled in the hills of the Scenic Rim. There is plenty to do if you are feeling active and plenty of great spots to do nothing if that is what you prefer. Follow the winding cattle tracks, sketch the Jinbroken Range in the west, spy on the platypus, walk and fish along the river for a kilometre or two or simply unwind with a wine in front of the fireplace. There are great verandahs front and back too, so you will never tire of the view Crebra is fully self contained. It is well equipped with cookware, linen, DVD and stereo. All you need to do is bring your own food and drink and settle into the peaceful surroundings. Crebra is 10 min from the wilderness end of the World Heritage listed Lamington National Park and less than a km from Duck Creek Road up to the graded tracks at the O'Reilly's end of the Park.
