Description:
The centre boasts a new Emergent Curriculum which focuses on learning through natural curiosity, doing and self-directing, not through sitting before a teacher who imparts knowledge. Our educators facilitate learning and extend as much as possible right there and then as the child's discovery unfolds. As a result, children will develop a love for learning which will help them succeed in their future education. Their delight and spontaneous wonder should always be the first priority. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab. From this belief came the inspiration to open our own production kitchen, the Healthy Cooking Company which provides morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea throughout our Child Care centres. We aim to create and promote natural and wholesome food with a number of health benefits. As Educators, we believe in teaching children that physical activity can be fun as well as good for our bodies and minds. As a result we have employed the skills of a fully Qualified Personal Trainer to coordinate exciting exercise programs within our centres. Our state of the art centres opened on the 29th March 2004. We are a double centre catering for children from birth through to 14yrs. We are open from 6am to 6pm five days a week, 52 weeks a year (excluding public holidays). As security is one of our priorities our centre has an advanced security system where parents are allocated their own pin number to access the centre during business hours. Anyone else wishing to enter the building must be accompanied by a staff member. We also provide a fun and exciting before and after school care program and vacation care programs for school aged children. We have a FREE transport service that operates between the centre and local schools.
