Hugo is also the Director of SALCEDO Band, one of Australia's most successful Latin bands. Hugo is credited by many as having introduced Salsa to Adelaide. In 2007, Hugo joined forces with well-known Latin dance instructor & performer Julia Gonzalez, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience from her years teaching & performing in Sydney - the capital of Salsa & Latin dance in Australia. Hugo & Julia are extremely sought after & respected Latin dancers and personalities within the Australian Salsa community. They are considered Adelaide's representatives, having been invited to perform & teach at Australia's & the world's most prestigious Latin dance events.
