I have always loved cooking and creating beautiful things to eat. I grew up in the Mallee and my earliest memories are of helping my Mum cooking for the shearers. It was always my favourite time of the year. Back in 1999 I met a lovely lady from England and she made the best fudge I have ever tasted and I begged and begged her for her recipe. I nicknamed her The Fudge Fairy. The day she boarded the plane back to England, she handed me an envelope and said to open it when she was up in the air. Well I did and found that she had left me the recipe that I had been begging for, for nearly 1 whole year. I always said that if I was to start a business in food then I would name that business The Fudge Fairy because if it wasnt for her then I wouldnt be doing what I love to do. Since that time I have branched out and have added Catering, Gift Baskets and Cupcakes to my resume. All the food that I bake is made fresh from scratch using recipes which have been sourced from past generations; using all natural ingredients, like pure butter, cream, fresh eggs, natural sugar, quality cream cheese, Belgian chocolate and more. None of that processed packaged stuff!! Even the fruit purees used in some of recipes are made fresh using fruit picked from my trees. No preservatives are added whatsoever! If you or a family member have nut, gluten, egg or dairy allergies dont hesitate to ask as I am happy to cater for this.
