I visit your pet at home where they are most comfortable. I like to start with a full body analysis, observing your dog's movement, gait, and their range of movement. I then gather as much information from you as possible before commencing treatment so that I am well equipped to assist your dog. A full body massage will be performed at each session, and stretching may be applied if necessary. Canine Myofunctional therapy is a professional and safe massage. CMT aims to improve the general wellbeing of your dog by improving the functioning of their muscles, organs and nerves as well as improving blood and lymph circulation. Massage and stretching is fantastic for racing dogs as it assists in the break down of muscle adhesions, improves longevity, increases length of stride and increases oxygen intake. Massage will also help to release muscle tension and prevent lactic acid building up in their muscles. All dogs can benefit from muscle therapy. Even the healthiest of pet dogs will at times have tight muscles and will need for them to be released.
