I am an accredited Mental Health Social Worker, registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers. I began the first 17 years of my working life in health science research, before making a career change into social work in 2008. Since then, I have worked both in private practice and in the public sector. I have had extensive experience working with adults and adolescents across a range of issues including anxiety/depression, stress management, coping with loss and adjustment, chronic pain and addictions. Rather than creating dependence, my goal is to empower clients with the tools and strategies needed to create positive change that is long-lasting and life changing. Step into the tranquility of my lovely counselling room in Myponga on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
