TRU Taekwondo teaches a style of Taekwondo based on Chung Do Kwan philosophy, using both the hands and feet for self-defence and fitness. We are a family owned and run club that is all about the true spirit of Taekwondo and we are dedicated to our students, their fun, fitness, confidence and self-defence. All our Instructors have been involved in the sport for more than 13 years and all hold Coaching Accreditation through Taekwondo Australia Inc. and have participated in both Sparing and Poomsae (patterns) competitions at State, National and International level. Because we are part of Taekwondo South Australia we are able to give all our students the opportunity to take part in the State Training and Development program for both Poomsae and Sparing, as well as State competitions and the Taekwondo Festival and National competition held every year in different states around Australia. The club is located in the Tea Tree Gully Primary School gym, Memorial drive, Tea Tree Gully. Training times are 6.30pm to 8.00pm on Monday and Wednesday nights and the first two trial lessons are free with no obligation. We donâ??t have any lock in contracts, so you can pay by the lesson if you want. So bring your children, and yourselves, and get them to try something that will give them skills and friendships that will stay with them for life. All you need to do is to wear loose and comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and give it a go! Feel free to bring along any friends or family as the club is open to everyone from 4 years old.
