The units are small but cosy and offer privacy you will not find elsewhere on the mountain.During the ski season, July to September, go downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing. Lessons and equipment are available. Indoors, there is a tavern and restaurant with live music on Saturday nights. The fully licensed Creek Inn offers great value meals all day from breakfast through to dinner every day. A fast-food outlet is convenient when you want to eat outdoors or in your hostel. Try your hand at abseiling, rock climbing, canoeing and mountain bike riding, easily arranged for groups. Go bush walking and notice the colourful alpine wildflowers.Ben Lomond National Park is approximately one hours? drive southeast of Launceston along the North Esk River Valley (60 kilometres/37 miles).
