In 1979 he spent the year in America assisting the teaching of hatha yoga on world-renowned meditation master, Swami Muktananda's, third world tour. In India, he studied under the guidance of the respective masters of the traditional hatha yoga forms: BKS Iyengar (Iyengar Yoga) at Poona and Sri K Pattabhi Jois of Mysore (Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga). He has orchestrated the main schools of both these styles here in Melbourne. For 10 years he has been employed as a Lecturer of Yoga by The Victorian College of the Arts - Drama Faculty, and previously at ABC Studios, The Age Newspaper and Jika Jika maximum security Pentridge Prison. His teaching style is unique and transformative. He communicates his experience in a light and easy manner, making yoga fun, practical, challenging and appropriate to all.
