With an extravagent eye for both contemporary exhibition and event design she combines her career as a fine artist with a flamboyant and colourful history as a florist. Miles is one of the most innovative local florists since Kevin O'Neill and has an established history working with thousands of clients including event designers, private wedding venues and major public sites to create visual and sensory spectaculars. As an artist Elaine specializes in the medium of Glass Installation, Sculpture and Performance Art. She is one of the most prolific and reviewed Australian artists of her time. As a florist Elaine brings a retro collection of glass and unique sculptural props that she combines with cascading floral arrangements in unique and elaborately styled form. As an artist, Miles holds four art related degrees including a Doctorate in Fine Arts. Her creative exhibitions and floristry has been critically acclaimed and featured in several newspapers including major features in The New York Sun (USA), Atlantic Press (USA), Glass Design (USA), The Age - Robert Nelson, The Age - My Space, The Age -News Features, The Age - Music and The Age Domain sections, The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW), The Herald Sun news features and home section plus The Melbourne Weekly Times.
