The services I provide include: Family Dispute Resolution FDR is the legal term for services such as mediation that help couples affected by separation and divorce to sort out their disputes with each other. Mediation can help you sort out any issues relating to property, money, and most importantly - your children. Counselling/psychotherapy usually focuses on particular issues or concerns for an individual or couple. The aim is to help you develop a clearer understanding of those concerns and their context, both personal and situational. I will also assit you in dealing with the feelings and reactions you are experiencing, which will in turn enable you to find a way of moving forward. I also provide specialised knowledge relevant to your situation, such as an understanding of the separation process; with a focus on communication skills, family of origin issues; relationship difficulties and grief both for the adults and the children in the family; as well as conflict, stress and anxiety and many other matters. The counselling process and the approximate time it will take will be worked out between us depending on your needs. Groups I run workshops throughout the year covering the following areas: . The separation process . Conflict . Communication . Mediation versus Family Court . Grief and Loss . Focus on the children during separation .
