BJJ Bunbury offers classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts for all ages. Seperate kids classes are run in Gracie Jiu Jitsu teaching self defense and submission techniques in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Adult BJJ classes teach traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This involves self defense, self confidense and fitness. BJJ includes stand up throws and locks, take down techniques and ground positions. Students learn how to submit an opponent quickly using body leverage. MMA classes consist of fitness work followed by stand up and ground techniques. Mixed Martial Arts will teach you how to use the punches, kicks and knees from Muay Thai Boxing. The stand grappling from Thai Boxing and Wrestling and the ground work from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. These classes are for all levels of fitness, from a student who just wants to improve their fitness to an MMA champion. BJJ Bunbury has produced numours state and Australian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA Champions. We are the home of Scott "The South West Cyclone" Mapley. One of Western Australia's most experienced Mixed Martial Artists. Classes available 5 nights a week and Saturdays. We have been established in Bunbury for ten years.
