Resthaven supports carers of older people to have a planned rest or break (respite) from their caring role, and to maintain their own physical and emotional health. Respite support is flexible and can be provided in the person's own home, in group settings, or in community settings (including overnight respite care for up to four nights at a time). In addition, our residential care facilities offer respite care in a residential care setting. Resthaven offers planned and emergency respite options to carers of frail older people across metropolitan Adelaide, in the Adelaide Hills, Murray Bridge, Mannum, Limestone Coast and Riverland areas.
